DAN NEVINS

 

After being seriously injured in 2004, resulting in traumatic brain injury and the amputation of both legs, Dan Nevins credits his successful recovery, positive attitude and “can-do” spirit to the camaraderie and support of the Wounded Warrior Project®. Dan now serves his peers and Warriors through sharing his own personal story and lessons learned both on and off the battlefield. With bilateral prosthetics, Dan is a dedicated Power Vinyasa Yoga teacher & former Director of Wounded Warrior Speak ® & alumnus of, and advocate for Wounded Warrior Project®. Dan was appointed as community outreach manager for the PGA TOUR on April 2007, and in May 2008, Dan was awarded the George C. Lange Award for Courage,

the highest award bestowed by WWP.

OPEN-LEVEL POWER VINYASA YOGA CLASS, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean & Beach at

Gurneys Resort and Spa on Sunday Morning.
